Reach Brisbane Queenslander owners and renovators
Queenslander Built reaches Brisbane homeowners who are planning, part-way through or recently finished a Queenslander raise, build-under or major renovation.
A partner directory listing puts your Queensland-licensed business in front of these readers at the moment they are choosing who to hire. It suits house raisers, structural engineers, builders, certifiers, trades, suppliers and specialist services.
Who can list
To list, you must:
- Hold a current Queensland licence for the work you advertise
- Operate in Queensland (initially South East Queensland)
- Provide a current ABN
- Agree to our Directory Policy
We verify your licence at listing and again at every renewal. We do not auto-renew without re-verifying.
What you get
A listing on the directory includes:
- A profile page with your business name, logo, services, service area and contact details
- A direct link to your website and contact pathway
- Listing in the relevant category (raisers, builders, engineers, certifiers, trades, suppliers, specialist services)
- An “Editorial honest” tag - we do not modify our editorial content for partners
What a listing does not include:
- Permanent inclusion - listings are annual and require re-verification
- Editorial endorsement - the directory is paid placement, not a personal recommendation
- Removal of any critical mention elsewhere on the site
- Hidden premium placement - if a paid placement gets a higher position, that pricing is published
Pricing
Pricing is being finalised ahead of the directory launch. Get in touch for the current rate card.
The pricing structure will follow these principles:
- Standard listing - a flat annual fee, the same for every business in the same category
- Featured listing (top of category) - higher fee, capped at a small number per category to avoid spam
- All listings labelled Sponsored or Paid placement, with a tooltip explaining what that means
We do not run silent premium tiers. The pricing structure is public.
How we maintain trust
The directory works only if readers believe it, so it runs on a set of standing rules:
- All listings labelled clearly
- The directory is separate from any historical editorial mention of trades we used on the Coorparoo project
- Annual licence re-verification, no auto-renewal
- Substantiated reader complaints lead to partner review and possible removal
- Affiliate links elsewhere on the site are disclosed in the body of the page
The full integrity rules sit in the Directory Policy, which every partner agrees to at listing and again at each renewal.
How readers find you
Listings appear in the relevant directory category, accessed from the site navigation. The directory is also linked from related editorial content where appropriate. We do not insert promotional language into editorial content.
How to apply
Use the contact page and tell us:
- Your business name and ABN
- Your QBCC licence number (or equivalent)
- The category you want to list under
- Your website and primary contact pathway
We respond within 5 business days with confirmation, follow-up questions or a decline. Where a listing is declined, we give the reason if it helps you reapply.
Why we do this
Most directories take any paying business that fills out a form. That makes the directory worse for readers and worse for the genuinely good businesses on it.
We are stricter on purpose. Readers can trust that a listing has been verified, and partners are not competing with unverified or low-quality listings.
