Queenslander Built is a practical information resource for Brisbane homeowners planning or managing Queenslander raises, build-unders and renovations. Content is based on real experience from an owner-builder project in Coorparoo, Brisbane, supplemented by publicly available information about Brisbane City Council, QBCC and building regulations in Queensland.

How content is produced
Content is written from direct owner-builder experience and references publicly available government and regulatory information. Cost figures, timelines and process descriptions are drawn from the real Coorparoo project unless otherwise stated. Where content describes general Brisbane or Queensland conditions, this is based on publicly available information and direct project experience, so it may not reflect your specific situation.
Accuracy and updates
Queenslander Built aims to keep content accurate and current, but building regulations, council requirements, QBCC fees and market conditions change. Articles are updated periodically: check the “last updated” date on each article.

Queenslander Built does not currently publish sponsored content. This policy will be updated if sponsored content arrangements are introduced.
What sponsored content would mean
If sponsored content is published in future, it will be:
- Clearly and prominently labelled as “Sponsored” or “Sponsored content” at the top of the page
- Clearly identified as paid content in any meta description or social media sharing
- Editorially independent: the sponsor will not control the content or conclusions
- Relevant to the Queenslander renovation, owner-builder and Brisbane property audience
